The Making of a James Hunt Mosaic
Ed Chapman’s newest mosaic pays tribute to James Hunt, the electrifying force who first drew him into the world of Formula 1. Crafted entirely from original vinyl records, the portrait reimagines Roberto Bunge’s iconic photograph through Chapman’s precise, angular mosaic technique, a style defined by sharp geometry, tonal discipline, and meticulous hand‑cut detail.
Embedded throughout the artwork are records from 1976, the year Hunt claimed his World Championship title. Their presence adds a layer of historical weight and material authenticity, transforming the piece into both a portrait and an artefact of the era. The choice of vinyl feels particularly fitting; Hunt’s rebellious, rock‑and‑roll spirit is echoed in the medium itself, creating a work that celebrates not only the driver, but the cultural energy he embodied.

The Original Key Man by Shaun Gagg
Turner Fine Arts is pleased to offer a rare opportunity to acquire the original Key Man sculpture by Shaun Gagg, available from a private collection.
Constructed from hundreds of welded keys and holding a lock within its hand, this remarkable sculpture represents the very first Key Man ever created by the artist. As the piece that launched one of Shaun Gagg's most recognisable and collectible series, it occupies a unique place within his artistic legacy.
Collectors will immediately recognise the distinctive features that set this early work apart from later examples, including the absence of a base and the unique hand construction found only in the original sculpture. Click the images to learn more.

What Our Clients Say
Mark & Tracy
“Steve had a full explanation of each and every artist and particular item we enquired about. It was clear Steve was very invested in all the artists that he represents and he even arranged for us to meet a couple of them after we had purchased our new art. We would recommend Turner Fine Arts gallery as you are bound to find some work that you like.”
Sarah Barry
“A few years ago I saw Shauns' work in an art gallery in London. I was so taken with the skill and often thought about owning a piece. Fast forward to 2024 and I have just taken delivery of the wonderful welded 2p coin structure of a woman's torso, I wanted a piece of art that celebrated the powerful women in my family and this is absolutely perfect. From the purchase to the delivery, excellent customer service.”
Stephen & Dawn
“We were delighted to have the opportunity to meet the talented artists David Bannister and Shaun Gagg. We are now the fortunate owners of an incredible painting created by David called “Meditation Au bord de L’eau,” along with a unique sculpture by Shaun entitled “Nuts about You,” a special piece that is admired by many art enthusiasts.”
