Hamad Al Humaidhan, (Hamad) born 11 September 1999, has been signed by international Art Agency, Turner Fine Arts. Described as a child prodigy, Hamad, the second of 4 children of Kuwaiti extraction was introduced to Turner Fine Art Principal, Steve Turner via a mutual colleague.
Turner says, ‘At the time I was introduced to Hamad, his paintings were stored at his home. Upon viewing them it did not take me long to realise that this young man could very well be the next Dali or Picasso in the making. Rarely does a child display the depth and traits of artistry that children his age do.’
Hamad draws much of his inspiration from browsing through his father’s collection of art books. His particular favorite artists being Picasso, Dali and Jackson Pollock. Hamad’s work is ‘inventive, colourful and large scale, which children don’t find easy. We are very happy to support Hamad’, says head teacher, Philip Pope.
Since signing to Turner Fine Arts, Hamad’s work has been introduced to a whole new plethora of clientele. The resulting effect being that Hamad’s first 6 piece collection was sold out before even going on show. The first public exhibition of his work will be anounced shortly.
